Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1, a Full-View display smartphone, is now up for pre-orders in USA as part of the first wave of pre-bookings. The phone will go on sale February 26, 2018. The device was first announced back in January this year, Asus is bringing to smartphones series for a budget segment with interesting features such as following the trend of the new 18:9 aspect ratio screen, Face unlock technology and more.

Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 Specifications

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 features a 5.7-inch IPS display with a full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device has a metal frame design and its housing made of durable aluminum alloy. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor paired with ARM Mali-T860 GPU and 2GB or 3GB of RAM. It packs a 16GB or 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

The ZenFone Max Plus M1 flaunts a dual rear camera setup includes: one is 16-megapixel and the other one with 8-megapixel resolution. The dual camera setup has a f/2.0 aperture lens as well as a 120-degree wide-angle lens to capture landscape and group photos. For selfie, the device an 8-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens. There are pre-installed features such as skin toning, smoothing, lightening, and eye correction among others to enhance selfies. The handset also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly.

The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat -based on ZenUI out of the box. It packs a 4130mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby up to 26 hours of talk time on a 3G network or up to 13 hours of video playback on a single charge. The handset also comes preloaded with Asus’ PowerMaster that is claimed to increase its battery life by two times, withstanding up to 500 cycles of full discharge.

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
