Asus ZenFone 6 Update Adds Super Night Mode, Camera rotation stability and More

Asus ZenFone 6 returns to update itself a few weeks after the last update, introducing some interesting news. The main one concerns the support for the secondary wide-angle camera by the Super Night Mode, which can now also take advantage of the wide optics to perform better quality night shots.

This is undoubtedly the main feature, however, the update – which brings the system version to 16.1210.1904.133 – also brings with it other improvements, such as improve camera rotation stability, optimize translation strings in Setting, and optimize UI Animation. There is even a new weather widget displayed on the lock screen and optimize the headphone sound quality, all accompanied by improvements to the overall system stability.

The update has begun to reach the first ZenFone 6 via OTA, however, if you don’t want to wait any longer, you can download the integral firmware – about 1.85GB – and proceed with manual installation once copied into the internal storage of the smartphone. You can find the download files in the source below and Asus ZenFone 6 has also been listed on Bhphotovideo.com online store with a “Notify when available”, pricing starts from $499.99 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, and the model with 128GB storage costs $549.99.
