Asus has started the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo for its ZenFone 3 – namely ZE552KL and ZE520KL. As usual, the information comes from the official Asus forum. The OTA notifications began to arrive just today, and Asus expects it will take a week to reach all the devices around the world.
In both devices, the software version is 15.0410.1712.31, and the changelog is identical. Asus specifies that three applications have been removed, namely Minimove, Photocollege and Do It Later, there is a renewed interface for the settings that make navigation easier and more intuitive, and there is the new system to recall the drawer with all applications, ie a swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.

- Software update to Android 8.0 Oreo. Internal storage will decrease slightly after update, suggest to backup data and relocate media file (pictures & video clip) to SD card to reserve at least 1.5GB storage before starting the software update.
