Asus ZenFone 2 Laser with 3GB RAM Launched in India, Priced at Rs 13,999

The price for the new version of Asus ZenFone 2 Laser with 3GB RAM is set at Rs 13,999 in India, extra Rs 4,000 when compared to the recently launched 2GB version. Both versions are now available for purchase on Flipkart.

After officially launched in Indian market and some Asian countries, just on Monday Asus adds a new version of ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL-1A121IN) with more advanced configuration. The new version will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with 3GB of RAM.

This is a significant upgrade from the version being sold in the Indian market, while the current version of the ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL-1C019WW) only uses 2GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset.

In addition to upgrading the RAM and processor, other configuration parameters of the handset remains unchanged include a 5.5-inch screen with 720×1280 pixels HD resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, 16GB of internal memory that’s also supports external microSD card to expand memory up to 128GB. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) Octa-core Processor and Adreno 405 GPU to provide more power when playing high-quality 3D games and multi-tasking.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Zen UI 2.0 interface developed by ASUS. While talking about the imaging features, it bears a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with the laser autofocus and dual Real Tone flash light. In front a 5-megapixel shooter to take a selfie.
