Asus ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo with ScreenPad+ Secondary Display at Computex 2019

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 is one of the most awaited innovations of the Taiwanese brand at Computex 2019. It is a laptop that stands out from the competition due to the presence of a secondary 14-inch touch display that Asus called ScreenPad+, designed to facilitate work and content creation thanks to its 32:9 ratio and the position just above the keyboard.

The integration between the two displays – the main one and the secondary ScreenPad+, through the ScreenXpert software you can access a series of tools and apps that allow you to make the most of this peculiarity. It can be used as a second display – in the sense that it can display contents other than those shown on the primary screen – as it can interact with the main panel through the multiscreen. The interactions are managed by controls like App Switcher, ViewMax and App Navigator, perfect for working on two displays in an efficient and functional way.

Inside we find Intel Core 9th generation processors, up to 32GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 and SSD up to 1TB PCIe 3.0. The 15.6-inch ZenBook Pro Duo has a 4K UHD (3840×2160) HDR OLED main screen, while the secondary ScreenPad+ has a 4K (3840×1100) resolution. There is also no lack of support for Alexa and the Asus NumberPad touchpad with dual LED-lit function.

There is a 14-inch ZenBook Duo UX481 version is also available, featuring a NanoEdge FHD and ScreenPad+ FHD display with an Intel Core i7 processor and GeForce MX250 GPU.

The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 and ZenBook Duo UX481 will be expected to be sold in the third quarter of this year. Asus hasn’t committed to any pricing, saying that the specifications and variants might not be the same in all countries.
