Asus VivoBook S15 and Pro 15 goes official at Computex 2017

Asus at Computex 2017 along with the ZenBook Flip S also unveiled two new laptops – VivoBook S15 and Pro 15. The first is designed with the ultrabook form factor in mind comes with a 15.6″ screen size similar to 14″ laptop. The second is the most powerful VivoBook ever produced by Asus.

It’s a laptop with a thickness of 17.9 mm and a weight of 1.5 kilograms, but the most interesting are the NanoEdge display with 7.8 mm frame, thanks to which it has been possible to integrate a 15.6″ diagonal panel without a negative impact on overall dimensions.

Inside the device, new seventh-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX940 discrete graphics, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and will be available in Icicle Gold finish.

ASUS VivBook Pro 15 (N850)

The hardware platform is divided into the Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and dedicated Nvidia GeForce 1050 GTX graphics. Hybrid Solution for the storage compartment that can be configured with mechanical hard drive up to 2TB and 512GB SSD.

The 15.6-inch display has a 4k UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution and offers a very accurate color rendition, as suggested by the 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. There’s also a Harman Kardon sound system with dual speaker and dedicated amplifier.

Other noteworthy features are the fingerprint sensor, the support for the Asus stylus pen, and the dual-fan cooling system with a dual-copper thermal module and heat pipes will ensure the VivoBook Pro 15 to stay cool during intense gaming sessions or under heavy loads.

Both the Asus laptops will be available this summer, and prices start at $499 for VivoBook S15 and $799 for VivoBook Pro 15.
