Asus VivoBook S14 and S15 With ScreenPad 2.0 and MX250 GPU at Computex 2019

Asus raises the bar at the Computex 2019 and renews the Vivobook series with the two notebooks S14 and S15, now more powerful, beautiful and functional thanks to the innovations inherited from the most prestigious Zenbook family. So the design changes, now even more aggressive given the presence of the second display instead of the classic touchpad, even on the new Vivobook debuts the ScreenPad 2.0 version and the thickness of the frames seem reduced the overall dimensions.

To give an even more graceful appearance comes then the ErgoLift hinge, capable of raising and tilting the keyboard a few degrees (3.5° max) and thus facilitating the writing on the display explained. But the tweaks are not only aesthetic, even in this family, we see the presence of the latest generation Wi-Fi 802.11ax and the dedicated Nvidia MX250 graphics card.

The icing on the cake is the presence of the infrared camera for the login through the face and Windows Hello, usually well-maintained audio compartment by Harman Kardon for a listening experience that seems immediately above average.

S14 is the smaller of the two with a 14-inch Full HD NanoEdge display in the classic 16:9 format and an 86% screen-to-body ratio. The finishes are interesting, the palm rests should be made of aluminum and the build quality seems more than excellent, the weight does not go beyond 1.4 kg.

Asus Vivobook S14 which boasts a design that is more in step with the times and up-to-date hardware, so much so that Asus has also thought of it for a more demanding public that can thus run even the most demanding software (with the necessary limits). Unfortunately, we do not have official prices, but we know that the basic variant will certainly be under the EUR 1000, we hope that we can also include the S431FL model which integrates the aforementioned new generation Nvidia MX250 dedicated graphics card.

Also noteworthy is the fast 47Wh battery, 60% charged in 49 minutes with the more powerful 65W adapter supplied with the S431FL, for the S431FA model we will have a 45W charger and integrated UHD 620 graphics card.
