ASUS RX Vega 56 Strix OC Specifications, 10% Higher framerates

ASUS RX Vega 56 Strix OC is the custom version of AMD’s Radeon RX Vega 56, especially overclocked to offer better in-game performance. The technical specifications have finally been leaked on the web, thus offering us the possibility to know the first details of the ASUS graphics card. After the launch of the ROG Strix Vega 64, we could see the product on sale in stores soon.

ASUS RX Vega 56 Strix OC comes equipped with a triple fan heatsink and technologies like MaxContact, ASUS FanConnect II, and Aura RGB. Asus offers a GPU frequency of 1297 MHz with a boost of 1573 MHz; the memory frequency (8GB HBM2) remained unchanged at 800 MHz, as was the AMD reference.

This model basically incorporates the characteristics of the ROG Strix Vega 64, with the only difference of the GPU use 3584 Stream Processor instead of the 4096SP of Vega 64. The overclocking practiced by ASUS should ensure a performance increase of around 10%, a given percentage that will surely increase the characteristics of the graphics card’s dissipation system.
