The new gaming monitor also features ASUS FastIPS technology for a response time of 1ms, an amazing 1000:1 contrast ratio and ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) Sync that can be paired with NVIDIA G-SYNC to effectively eliminate the phantom effect and tear to obtain images of crisp games with high frame rates.
The new ASUS FastIPS technology employs high-speed liquid crystal elements that change up to 4 times faster than conventional IPS panels. This allowsXG279Q to offer a true gray to gray (GTG) response time of 1ms, for sharper colors and clearer and spotless game visualizations.
