Asus Pegasus 3 has been officially launched in China, it is one of the latest budget smartphone with all metal body and Fingerprint sensor being launched after Pagasus 2. Asus Pegasus 3 price in China is set to 1299 Yuan – approximately $197 USD for 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 1499 Yuan – approximately $227 for 3GB RAM/32GB ROM model. It is available in Gold, Silver, Gray and Rose Gold color variants.
The Asus Pegasus 3 features a 5.2-inch IPS display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 267ppi and 2.5D curved glass screen on top of it. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad-core (Cortex A-53) processor that’s fueled by MediaTek MT6737 chipset paired with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.
On the camera front, the Pegasus 3 bears a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with PDAF – Phase Detection Auto Focus and LED flash. It can shoot full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens to capture stunning selfies and video calling. The device also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel to unlock the device quickly.
This Pegasus 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow -based on Zen 3.0 UI out of the box. It packs a 4100mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby time up to 37 days and talk time of up to 19 hours on 3G network. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity, handset includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 155 x 76.4 x 9mm and weighs around 158 grams.
Early this month, Asus has announced Zenfone Max Pro smartphone with 5000mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage. It features a 5.5-inch HD display; a 1.0 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor; Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
