Asus has officially launched the new ProArt PA32UC, a 32-inch display size and 4K resolution monitor dedicated to professionals in the world of photography and video editing; areas of use that require particularly accurate color calibration.
The Asus ProArt PA32UC comes equipped with features that will certainly appeal to these categories of users. First of all, we have a 95% DCI-P3 coverage ratio, and 99.5% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space.
This is an IPS panel that is able to reach a maximum brightness level of 1,000 nits (remember that these are always peaks reachable in extremely small portions of the screen) according to Asus. Therefore, it is not surprising that the monitor is compatible with HDR technology and Ultra HD Premium certified.
Another important feature of this HDR monitor is certainly the type of backlighting. For this Asus ProArt PA32UC we speak of a full array with 384 lighting zones; detail that allows to obtain, in addition to the brightness peak described above, greater uniformity and better contrast.
Asus also declares 14-bit support for color depth, and the presence of a 14-bit LUT, which reproduces a very high number of tones (1.07 billion) consequently to have more complete transitions and more natural images.
To be even more transparent, Asus will be providing a report on the advance calibration results of the purchased monitor, so that the user knows in advance what are the real specifications of the product that is about to receive. The company also declares that all ProArt PA32UC 4K monitor is pre-calibrated with a delta E value of less than 2.
