ASUS FX95DD Gaming Notebook with Ryzen 7 3750H and GeForce GTX 1050

Confirming the rumors leaked in recent days, ASUS is preparing the new TUF FX95DD gaming notebook to market. This is the first of a new series based on the second generation AMD Ryzen mobile processors with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card.

The new model has been listed on ASUS’s Chinese shop (link in the Source) is already available to buy at a price of CNY 5,798 approximately $865 at the exchange rate. A rather attractive figure looking at the characteristics of the notebook, inserted in the ASUS TUF series, famous for its high reliability and build quality, conforming to the 810G military standard.

ASUS FX95DD is a 15.6-inch gaming notebook, equipped with a 120 Hz Full-HD IPS panel. The design is decidedly less showy than ROG products, cared for enough and with an eye on the side frames, reduced to just 6.5 mm. On board, there is a backlit keyboard, while as regards dimensions, the body measures 36×26.2×2.6 cm and a weight of 2.2 kg.

Turning instead of the hardware configuration, the ASUS TUF FX95DD uses an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H “Picasso” APU, quad-core with SMT (8 logical threads) built with 12nm process and equipped with integrated Radeon Vega 10 mobile GPU. The APU has 6MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 35W, while for clock frequencies, it starts from 2.3 GHz (base clock) to get to 4 GHz in Boost mode.

The Ryzen 7 3750H and the GeForce GTX 1050 3GB will be joined by 8GB of DDR4 RAM (expandable to 32GB) and M-2 SSD storage up to 512GB with options for NVMe PCIe drives. Complement the supplied WiFi AC and Gigabit LAN connectivity, HD audio and USB 3.0. At the moment we do not know if the product will also be marketed in US, certainly, the quality/price ratio makes it definitely interesting for the mid-range consumer segment.
