Astell&Kern recently unveiled its latest portable high-resolution audio player called Astell&Kern KANN CUBE. This is the upgraded version of KANN’s 2-year-old company. KANN Cube has a strong upgrade with Dual ESS Sabre ES9038PRO DACs for decoding 32bit / 384kHz and native DSD256. Currently, the product is expected to be sold in June with a price of $1,499.
KANN is Astell & Kern’s most powerful powerhouse (7Vrms), however, the new version KANN CUBE is much better with an output of up to 12Vrms. Despite its larger capacity, Astell&Kern said the new amplifier still offers low background noise, three different levels of gain that make it easy for users to pair with any headset.
Besides being equipped with Dual ESS Sabre ES9038PRO DACs, KANN CUBE is also equipped with 128GB internal storage and a Micro USB memory card slot. In addition to the familiar ports, this time Astell&Kern also equipped with 5 mini XLR ports for your device. KANN CUBE owns a 5-inch touch screen to help users easily manipulate. Besides, the product also supports MQA as well as Open App so users can easily install and use other music streaming services such as Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz … Astell&Kern and also equipped with aptX HD to help ensure music quality when wireless transmission.
KANN CUBE still owns a large size, even larger than the first generation. Thanks to this design, Astell&Kern can fit 7,400mAh battery to ensure the battery life of the product reaches 9 hours of continuous use. The company also has a USB-C port for fast charging.
