At the Gamescom 2018, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey returns to two new videos: one dedicated to Alexios and the other to Kassandra, in the new adventure set in Ancient Greece.
New videos show us the powerful Mercenaries wield incredible strength and skill, where legendary beasts wait to devour all but the strongest adventurers, and where the monsters you thought were only stories are real. Medusa is one of several Greek monsters you’ll encounter throughout Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and like her, they’re designed to be endgame challenges for experienced players to discover.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Ancient Greece is a world where myth and reality are intertwined, where the gods loom over all aspects of daily life and strange creatures are rumored to lurk in forbidden areas.
Even if you’re not hunting monsters, challenging foes are everywhere in Ancient Greece. Inspired by the labors of Hercules, Legendary Animals prowl remote areas, and players can test their mettle against the likes of the golden-furred Nemean Lion, the cursed Lykaon Wolf, or the massive Kallisto the Bear. Additionally, stealing or killing can put a bounty on your head, at which point you’ll need to contend with powerful wandering Mercenaries who carry powerful gear, wield advanced skills, and often come accompanied by bears, wolves, and other pets.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC starting October 5th, 2018.
