Archos expands its Diamond series devices at IFA 2017, including, Archos Diamond Alpha Plus smartphone and Archos Diamond Tab tablet. Here are the few key features and specifications of both the devices.
Archos Diamond Alpha Plus Specifications
All metal and with dual rear cameras, this new Archos smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Octa-core processor (four Cortex-A72 and four Cortex-A53) 10% faster than compared to the previous Snapdragon 652 SoC. It packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with a microSD slot. The battery capacity is 3000mAh with fast charging and USB Type-C port support. The Diamond Alpha Plus features a 5.2-inch IPS display with FHD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
For optics, there are not many details about the cameras: dual rear camera sensors from Sony, dual 13-megapixels sensors; one is RGB and second is Monochrome, it also supports 4K video recording and will allow you to adjust the focus after the shot. In front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter and it has been priced at EUR 399.
Archos Diamond Tab Specifications
The new Archos tablet is also made of metal and has a display size of 10.1-inches. The resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels, while it is powered by Rockchip 3399 SoC (four cores ARM Cortex-A72 and four cores Cortex-A53). The Mali-T860 MP4 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.
On the camera front, the Diamond Tab features 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 720p video recording support. The battery capacity is 6600mAh. The price of the tablet will be priced at EUR 299.99, and both will be available in October 2017.
