A few days before the start of the new edition of the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Archos has announced two new low-cost smartphones – 50 Graphite and 55 Graphite, and Archos 101 Saphir is the new 2-in-1 tablet designed specifically for people who work outdoors, such as workers and hikers.
Both new Archos 55 Graphite and Archos 50 Graphite smartphones will feature an all-aluminum uni-body, and both have a dual camera setup of 13-megapixel autofocus and 2-megapixel along with a flashlight module. The additional 2-megapixel camera is for better depth-of-field ‘bokeh’ effect. On the front side, both have a 5-megapixel camera. The rear side of the smartphones is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which can take up to 5 different fingerprints as claimed by the company.
As for the other technical specifications, however, the new smartphone of the French company will not make a miracle, being equipped with 1GB / 2GB of RAM, a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.

The new Graphite range will be officially unveiled in a few days at the MWC 2017, with the first availability expected in the month of June 2017, pricing starting from $158. Archos informs that the pricing and availability details may differ depending on region.
Coming to the new Archos 101 Saphir tablet is the result of collaboration with Logic Instrument branch, a leader in integrated systems in reinforced mobile devices. The tablet features a rugged body resistant to drops of up to 1 meter, dust, water (IP54) and is equipped with keyboard, 10.1-inch IPS display with HD resolution, GPS and quad-core processor.

Archos 101 Saphir price details have not been revealed by the company, the tablet will be launched in June this year and will be priced starting $140. As said, it will be available in select regions.
