The French manufacturer Archos has added a new 14-inch laptop called Archos 140 Cesium. This new Archos laptop has a portable design which uses an Intel Atom processor and runs on the Windows 10 operating system. The main highlight of the device is its size and weight – Archos 140 Cesium weighs only 900 grams, and it’s only 20 mm thick.
The Archos 140 Cesium features a 14-inch HD IPS display with a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F 1.34 GHz quad-core processor along with Intel HD graphics (Gen 7) GPU for better gaming experience. It packs a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage that can be further expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB cards and there is also support for Microsoft OneDrive for additional storage.
The Archos 140 also sports a 0.3 megapixel webcam for video calling. The device is fueled by a long lasting 10,000mAh battery that can rated to deliver normal usage time up to 8 hours. It runs Windows 10 OS and features Cortana integration, Edge browser, Skype, OneDrive, Excel, Word and Powerpoint applications. It measures 351 x 233 x 20 mm and weighs only 900 grams.
According to the official images, it should be noted that the Archos 140 Cesium has quite similar design to the Apple Macbook Air, but it will be priced at about 200 euros – approximately $188.
Recently, Archos has launched Flip Hybrid Laptop. Archos Flip is a hybrid device can turn into a tablet, a 11.6-inch touch screen display, runs Windows 10 including Cortana and personal assistant. It is powered by an Intel Atom x5 Z8300 Cherry Trail processor, a 32GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes equipped with a 8000mAh battery which can deliver more than 10 hours of battery life.
