AOC unveils its new AGON G493UCX monitor, it is a 49-inch curved ultrawide AOC gaming monitor that promises to deliver an immersive gaming experience and performance that will satisfy a wide range of gaming users.
It is clear that we are not faced with an economic solution like the AOC AGON models of the G2 series presented in September. New AOC monitor features speak of a decidedly more interesting product, equipped with a VA panel capable of a 120Hz refresh rate, and 550cd/m² brightness.
The use of a VA panel allows you to have the AOC gaming monitor with a better contrast than IPS models, in this case, we talk about a typical contrast of 3000:1 against the classic 1000:1 that usually characterize IPS; the display also boasts a DCI-P3 color space with 93% coverage, a percentage that rises to 121% when we talk about sRGB coverage.[Best Gaming Monitor 2019: Buying Guide]
The AGON G493UCX also offers a resolution of 5120×1440 pixels with Super Ultra-Wide 32:9 format and a response time of 1ms (MPRT); Finally, there is also FreeSync support, while for the I/O department we find 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB Type-C, USB Type-A, audio in / out and 5 watt stereo speakers.
