Anker has released the next-generation battery pack called PowerHouse 200 for its 434Wh battery pack segment. By reducing the battery capacity to just 200Wh, the PowerHouse 200 battery pack will cost $300, which is $200 less than the previous version.
The new power station is designed to look sturdier and feel more durable. The sides are covered with hard rubber cushions as well as straps for a more user-friendly feel. Despite its compact size, Anker removes one USB-A port and add USB-C port. Supports up to 60W of Power Recharging (PD) for charging recently released mobile devices, especially with USB-C PDUs that reduce the traditional chargers need. Standard 110V AC power outlet is 100W, very abundant for use on a 40″ LCD TV. The total volume of this battery pack is about 3.18 kg (7 pounds). A typical 12V charging port for cars is still integrated so you can use small vacuum cleaners or car tire inflator when needed.
The Anker PowerHouse 200, despite its lower battery life, offers consumers a full -power, multi-use battery backup experience, especially USB-C Power Delivery, at a more attractive price.
