Android M is now official: Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Finally, the most anticipated Operating system of the google called Android M has an official full name Marshmallow, Google today has released a beta version of Android M, and in this period the company has revealed the letter M stands for Marshmallow.Android M Name

Android M has the official name is Android 6.0 Marshmallow and new Android OS symbol being put into building in California, USA. The new operating system was announced at the Google I/O conference in last May and is expected to be present on the sample phone in the coming months.

According to Google, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will optimize operational performance compared with the previous version, minimalist ability occupied RAM, improved battery life, supports fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C.Android 6.0 Marshmallow

In the near future, Android 6.0 Developer Preview has been updated on Nexus devices like the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be officially released in late October or early November. “Whether you like them straight out of the bag, roasted to a golden brown exterior with a molten centre, or in fluff form, who doesn’t like marshmallows? We definitely like them,” wrote Jamal Eason, Product Manager, in their blog post. “Since the launch of the M Developer Preview at Google I/O in May, we’ve enjoyed all of your participation and feedback. Today with the final Developer Preview update, we’re introducing the official Android 6.0 SDK and opening Google Play for publishing your apps that target the new API level 23 in Android Marshmallow.”

Back to named Marshmallow, Google continues the sweet name for its Android version. Marshmallow is a jelly made from sugar, water, corn syrup, gelatin, vanilla flavoring and sometimes also the edible colors. Marshmallow is a modern version of candies made from Althaea officinalis plants which also known as Marshmallow tree.
