Celebrating its 2-year anniversary this week, Amazon has announced a limited period discount for its Alexa-powered Echo smart virtual assistant. The offer sees a $39.60 discount on the Amazon Echo, bringing the price down to $140.39. 
The Amazon Echo lowest price offer is available exclusively at Amazon USA store is calling it ‘celebrate Alexa’s 2nd birthday’ by the online retailer. And of course, it’s a limited time period offer that also mentioned by the retailer.
To recall, the Amazon Echo is a personal assistant speaker aimed at integrating with smart home devices. Echo, was selling for $179, is a voice-activated device which can “fetch” music or news, control home automation such as lighting and temperature and order products from Amazon.
A ring of microphones built into can-shaped Echo speakers enable the devices to identify voices even when music is playing, it can accesses news, weather, streaming music and more using wireless Internet connections. Echo can also be managed remotely using free applications built for smartphones powered by Apple, Android or Amazon’s Fire operating software.
Back in March, Amazon has introduced two new Alexa voice-controlled assistants – Amazon Tap and Amazon Echo Dot. These new devices Amazon Tap and Echo Dot – designed to amplify the role its voice-controlled assistant Alexa plays in people’s homes and lives, which should provide additional comfort to the user.
Apart from this, Amazon has started Black Friday Deals 2016 with great discounts and one-day deals on smartphones, tablets, and other electronics.
