Alcatel recently introduced a new smartphone line-up at CES 2017, and now the company has announced another entry-level device for its product portfolio. Alcatel Verso is the brand new smartphone comes with modest specifications, and the low price is one of the main characteristics of the device.
Alcatel Verso Specifications
The Alcatel Verso features a 5-inch TFT LCD display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution, and the screen is protected Dragontrail glass. It is powered by a 1.1GHz MSM8909 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the Verso bears a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with 720p video recording at 30fps. For selfie, there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device measures 5.57 x 2.83 x 0.39 inches and weighs 5.40 oz.
The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box and packs a 2050mAh battery. There is also support for FM radio. The device comes in Black color only, it has a micro-textured back panel, which is very comfortable to hold and use.
For now, the Alcatel Verso will only be available in the United States for $30. The device is being sold exclusively by the Cricket operator along with its plan.
Early this month, Alcatel launched the 3C smartphone under its new Alcatel 3 series. Alcatel 3C has 18:9 full view display and feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. Alcatel 3C price in UK has been set at £155.91 for unlocked dual SIM variant and it is now available to buy via Amazon.co.uk store.
