Smartphone manufacturer Alcatel has launched its new Idol 5S smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity in the US and the smartphone has already been made available by the company on via Amazon. Alcatel Idol 5S price in USA is $279.99. The device comes with an impressive Snapdragon 625 SoC and 8MP front camera and the store is also offering a $80 Gift Card discount on smartphone for Prime members.
You can now pre-order the Idol 5S for $280 and the should begin shipping July 10, 2017. If you are an Amazon Prime member and don’t mind putting up with ads on the locks screen, you can grab one for $199.99. It is initially compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T, but a software update that will roll out over the summer will add support for Sprint and Verizon.
Alcatel Idol 5S Specifications
The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and dual 3.6-watt front-facing speakers to provide loud stereo quality sound. The Idol 5S is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor that’s backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. While the 32GB of native storage which can be further expandable via microSD card up to 512GB.
