Alcatel launched the Idol 4S smartphone in USA back in September this year with bundled VR headset starting at a price of $399.99. Now the few months back the phone got a $50 price cut. Now the latest Alcatel Idol 4S price is $349.99 and has listed on the Amazon store, but without VR headset included in USA. As usual the device is available only in Dark Gray color variant as well as U.S warranty. 
Recall to specs, the device features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution that is rated to deliver a high pixel density of 534ppi. It comes with Precog UI (touchless control), Live UI and Parallax UI. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor that is fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset along with Adreno 510 (550 MHz) GPU. It has massive 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 512GB with the help of microSD card.
For optics, Alcatel Idol 4S features a 16-megapixel primary autofocus camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera also teamed with LED flash to capture bright selfies and video calling. The rear camera also features touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, and 4K video recording (2160p) at 30fps.
Alcatel’s Idol 4S comes with dual 3.6 watt JBL certified speakers, NXP’s TFA9890 Smart Power Amplifier, and Hi-Fi Surround-sound for J22 JBL headphones. It has also been optimized and comes with both automatic and manual audio presets. User can also get BOOM Key Experience Booster as well as FM Radio options.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 S runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It packs a 3000mAh battery with fast charging that is rated to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 340 hours of standby time. Unlocked Alcatel Idol 4S supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, micro-USB 2.0, OTG and 3.5 audio jack as connectivity options.
