Along with the Idol 5 smartphone, Alcatel has announced the A7 smartphone at IFA 2017. This new smartphone is belonging to the A series, after the A3, A3 XL, A50, A30 and A30 Plus have been officially announced this year. The Alcatel A7 is a mid-range device with a refined design embellished with gold color metal engraving on the back, massive battery and, a good hardware equipment.
The Alcatel A7 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and the device has an elegant 3D rotation effect and refined details gives it an extraordinary look. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor which might be supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T chipset along with 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the A7 flaunts a 16-megapixel primary autofocus camera with dual-tone LED flash and has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash to capture stunning self-portraits and quality video calling. The Alcatel A7 comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor and Dual App functionality similar to the Idol 5.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and packs a 4000mAh battery with 9V1.67A charger and quick charging support. It supports single SIM slot and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE Cat 6, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4G, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
Alcatel A7 price has been set at EUR 229 approximately $272 and will be available in this month soon.
