Alcatel 5V is the new smartphone announced officially today by TCL Communication belonging to the Alcatel 5 Series was first previewed at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona.
The new Alcatel smartphone features a 6.2-inch FullView 2.5D curved Dragontrail display with 19:9 aspect ratio that occupies 88% of the front (the body has the typical dimensions of a 5.5″ device), as well as a wide range of features based on artificial intelligence (including Google Lens).
The handset follows the SIMGANIC design philosophy for simple, organic design. Exemplified by Alcatel 5V, SIMGANIC aims to deliver iconic style with thoughtful details to create human-centric products. The photographic sector consists of a 12MP + 2MP dual rear camera with the bokeh effect and capturing good quality pictures in low light conditions. Even the camera is based on AI: the algorithms are able to identify up to 11 scenes and subjects.
Before leaving to the full technical specifications, remember that Alcatel 5V integrates not only a fingerprint sensor but also the Face Key biometric security technology that uses face recognition to identify the legitimate owner by unlocking the phone in half a second through 106 high precision points and a 30-degree detection range.
