Alcatel introduced three new smartphones last week at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. These are the Alcatel 3V, 1x and 5. All will have a bezelless design and FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Except that the company didn’t mention more specs of these devices.
However, Roland Quandt, a specialist in technology leaks, has posted complete Alcatel 3V specifications on his Twitter account and also indicates that the new Alcatel smartphone will hit the market this soon with a price tag of EUR 179 – approximately US$218.
Alcatel 3V Specifications
The Alcatel 3V features a large 6.0-inch IPS LCD FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. The device has a glass sandwich technology frame design and its housing made of metal.
The handset is powered by a 1.45 GHz quad-core processor which supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6737T chipset paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It packs a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
The Alcatel 3V flaunts a dual rear camera system: a 16-megapixel RGB sensor with secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor which also offers portrait mode, FHD (1080p) video recording and dual LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling.
The Alcatel 3V comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor and packs a 3000mAh battery. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
