TCL at the CES 2018 introduced a new Alcatel mobile phone called 3C under new Alcatel 3 series, after a recent leak. Alcatel 3C has 18:9 full view display from TCL and feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. Alcatel 3C price in UK has been set at £155.91 for unlocked dual SIM variant and it is now available to buy via Amazon.co.uk store.
Alcatel 3C is a budget device that has a more premium design because it has new trend FullView display, which uses the 18:9 aspect ratio. In addition to the technical specifications, the leaked images also show 3C’s appearance, revealing almost minimal edges and other details.
Alcatel 3C Specifications
The Alcatel 3C is sporting a polycarbonate chassis with a metallic finish and is available in Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Gold color options. New Alcatel phones come with a 6-inch IPS LCD FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by the MediaTek MT8321 chipset that paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It packs a 16 GB of native storage and it also features a dedicated slot for microSD card (up to 128GB).
On the camera front, the Alcatel 3C features an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1.12um pixels, HDR and LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with EIS, HDR, Panorama mode, Face Beauty, Time-Lapse and also paired with selfie LED flash to capture bright selfies. The back panel of the phone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and packs a 3,000mAh battery that will deliver a talk time of up to 15 hours and a standby time of around 300 hours. For connectivity, the Alcatel mobile phones include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a dual SIM card slot. It measures 161 x 76 x 7.9 mm and weighs 169 grams.
