Acer Chromebase All in One PC with touchscreen and Chrome OS

Acer has launched the first All-in-One PC run Chrome OS (Google Chrome Base) with integrated touch screen display.

The Acer Chromebase is All in One PC touch desktop computer running Chrome OS. The device uses the Full-HD 21.5 inch screen (1920 x 1080 pixels), NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, up to 4GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It has a built-in 3W speakers and full of common connection such as USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. All-in-One Acer Chromebase form can be mounted on a wall instead of a desktop to save space, suitable for small offices. Customers can also place it in public places to serve the purpose of search information or advertising. Acer has not announced the price for the product, the company said it will appear only in North America and Asia in the second quarter of this year.

Unlike Asus Chromebit or a Asus Chromebook was introduced yesterday, the basic configuration of the device is quite strong. However, the touch screen and increase the number of Android applications supported Chrome OS promises to bring success to Acer Chromebase. Recently, LG has also launched a All-in-One LG Chrome Base computer running Chrome OS, also called LG Chrome Base 22CV241, but without touch screen.
