Acer Aspire Z 24, Aspire 7, Aspire 5, and Aspire 3 Upgraded at IFA 2018

The Acer Aspire family of laptops and All-in-One Desktop PCs updates during Berlin’s IFA 2018. The common thread for all devices is the eighth-generation Intel Core processors, and we will see, varies in terms of the type of product on which they are mounted. Here are all the details:

Acer Aspire Z 24

The new All-in-one range has a 23.8-inch display (IPS FHD 1080p), latest 8th generation Intel Core i7+ processors, and Nvidia MX150 GPUs. It features such as a thickness of 11mm, a glossy V-shaped metal stand, a far-field microphone array with four digital microphones

It packs up to 32GB of Intel Optane memory, metal finish polished body that does not disfigure the device even in the living room; the new wide range of microphones allows to exploit the integrated virtual assistants, that is Alexa and Cortana, up to four meters away.

Acer Aspire Z 24 is also equipped with Acer TrueHarmony and Dolby Audio Premium technologies. The monitor is equipped with Flickerless technologies and a blue light filter.

The all-in-one PC will be available in North America in October, starting at $899; and in EMEA in October, starting at EUR 899.99.

Acer Aspire 7

The family of high-end notebooks, dedicated to professional, content creators and generally more demanding users. It is equipped with 8th-gen Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors, integrate a Radeon RX Vega M GL GPU (with 4GB of HBM2 RAM). The entire metal housing, the device measures just 16.9mm in thickness and weighs less than 1.6 kg. The display is 15.6 inches with Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution.

Acer Aspire 7

Acer Aspire 7 offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD PCIe NVMe RAID 0 STORAGE. The keyboard is backlit; the speakers are certified by Dolby ATMOS.

Acer Aspire 5

Acer Aspire 5 one of the mainstream notebook, has a 15.6-inch IPS display with FHD 1080p resolution. The housing is in aluminum, with a brushed finish; the side edges of the screen are reduced to 7.82mm. The processors are the new Whiskey Lake, or Core U of the eighth generation, with TDP of 15W and integrated Wi-Fi Gigabit radio. As an option, there is the dedicated Nvidia MX150 GPU.

Acer Aspire 5

The Acer Aspire 5 will be available in EMEA in December 2018 starting at EUR 549.

Acer Aspire 3

Acer Aspire 3 is an entry level with more than decent features. The display is 14-inch FHD 1080p and maximum RAM reaches up to 8GB. The internal storage is also upgradable, which probably means that there is a 2.5-inch HDD, easily replaceable with an SSD if needed. Among the options, there is also a DVD player.

Acer Aspire 3 will also be available in EMEA starting December this year starting at EUR 399.
