New Acer Aspire Switch 10 and Aspire Switch 10 E Hybrid Tablets Launched

The Acer Aspire Switch 10 is a new Windows platform tablet and when attaching with a keypad dock will become hybrids, can be customized and use in many different modes.

As Acer representatives said the new Switch 10 will have two versions of the Switch 10 E (SW3-013) towards the mid-range segment, the reference price of $ 279 and the second version is Switch 10 (SW5-015) with a higher screen resolution, priced $ 399.

The initial information about Aspire Switch 10 shows that notable products, which is the most attractive part of the keyboard dock which is using special hinge system, allow open angle reaches up to 360 degrees to customize screen in many different ways. Besides using as a standard laptop, you can fold the screen in the form of tents when watching movies or erect as a device to read e-books. Similar to other manufacturers, Acer is pushing the development of hybrid devices as an attempt to change the situation of the personal computer market today.

The Acer Aspire Switch 10 design has many similarities to the Lenovo Yoga product lines like allows the screen to rotate up to 360 degrees. However, the main difference in the Acer hybrid device is detachable keyboard, so user can use it when needed. With a weight of about 630 grams, Aspire Switch 10 E (SW3-013) looks quite bulky compared to some of the same lines but still easy to hold in hand.

The Aspire Switch 10 E tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F processor, 2GB RAM, built-in storage capacity of 64GB, running Windows 8.1 and have a battery life up to 12 hours continuously while docked keyboard. The Aspire Switch 10 also supports video signal output via mini-HDMI port, SD card reader, microUSB and additional USB 3.0 ports for connecting peripherals.

The display quality of Acer Aspire Switch 10 E (SW3-013) does stand out from the line of products from other brands. A 10.1-inch touch screen with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and an additional layer of toughened Gorilla Glass. IPS panel technology provides a broader perspective, however, by using mirror screen sometimes annoying for outdoor use.

The Aspire Switch 10 Specs also very similar to the Acer Aspire Switch 10 E, with a 10.1-inch screen, but with a higher resolution, reaching 1920 x 1200 pixels and tough, scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3, increased durability and better screen protector.
