Xiaomi Redmi 5 With 18:9 Display, Images and Specifications Leaked

Xiaomi continues to crave the curiosity of its millions of fans, first with the expected Redmi Note 5, and now with the cheapest Redmi 5 budget model, a series of images and technical features have been surfacing on the web through a China Telecom operator.

An accidentally leaked by the Asian operator, Xiaomi Redmi 5 is leaked in Gold color version, with an 18:9 design for the first time in the entry-level segment that pleases our eyes, reducing the frames on the front and expanding the usage area dedicated to the display.

Aesthetics considerably different for the back compared to Redmi 4x, the camera lens moves to the center, below it LED flash and the fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi seems to keep the IR sensor and 3.5 mm audio jack at the top of the device, while on the other side there is a micro USB port and speaker grids.

From the pure hardware point of view, there may be interesting surprises, but in this case, we will have to wait for the product to be officially certified as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor in this version.

According to the latest rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 price should be around CNY 1, 399 – approximately $211 and it is expected to launch on December 10th.
